Our carpet was worn out. We certainly hope they last a lot. From muddy stairs to carrying heavy furniture, carpets are laid every day.
Microbes and fungi
Then there are the subtle impurities – microbes and bacteria and dead skin cells that feed on house dust mites. In general, carpets are a very attractive place for dust mites, mold spores, etc. to live and thrive.
A clean rug looks better, lasts longer, and is stronger than a rug that is not cleaned regularly.

Of course, there are many things you can do yourself to clean carpets. For example, regular vacuuming helps if you have pets. Our furry friends often leave little hairs everywhere and carpets are often damaged.
Powder and baking powder
You can also use an over-the-counter baking powder or soda (which is great for deodorizing) to clean carpets. Sprinkle the powder generously on the carpet – do a patch test on an inconspicuous area first – and let it sit for 30 minutes or more if possible.
For carpet shampoo, add the solution as indicated on the label. Most shampoos need to be diluted with water. Again, it is advisable to test the product in an inconspicuous spot on your carpet.
Use enough shampoo to cover the area and try not to use too much shampoo. Scrub the area with a stiff bristle brush. After the shampoo dries, let the vacuum cleaner dry.
